WHO AM I?

My name is Lori Ossip, and I’m a 30-year old theatre enthusiast from Toronto, Canada.

WHAT MAKES YOU QUalified to write about theatre?

Who knows. I’m not the theatre police 🙂

What’s your favourite musical?

For music, it’s Carousel (plot isn’t great, though) or West Side Story. Other faves (subject to change): Little Shop, Spelling Bee, Heathers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sweeney Todd. I like both old and new musicals, though admittedly, jukebox musicals are not usually my favourite. I also have a soft spot for the Music Man since it was my first starring role as a kid.

Who’s your favourite broadway star?

Sutton Foster. Full stop.

Favourite broadway show you’ve ever seen?

Musical – Thoroughly Modern Millie with Sutton Foster. My first Broadway show! Play – The Ferryman.

Favourite show you’ve SEEN RECENTLY?

Merrily We Roll Along (Broadway).
